What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is an effective, relaxing and enjoyable way to make changes to behaviours, overcome fears and to break habits. Hypnosis means you are in a relaxed state, a naturally occurring altered state of awareness. Without realising it most people enter into an altered state of awareness every day.
All too often we are held back by negative beliefs and thoughts and hypnosis is a way to change these limiting beliefs into positive ones. Hypnotherapy is an amazing therapy that can help you to improve your life by accessing your subconscious to help with the issues you want to focus on. Using hypnosis together with NLP techniques, I can help you address issues including anxiety, phobias, fears, confidence and weight management.
What will it feel like?
Everyone experiences it differently but you will feel relaxed and will be able to hear my voice all the time. Your mind may wander off as if you are daydreaming and it is in this relaxed state that therapeutic suggestions and visualisations can help to resolve your issues.
Will you be controlling my mind?
No, you will be fully aware of what is taking place and you can't be hypnotised
against your will. You can waken from the trance state any time you wish and you will not be asked to say or do anything that you would not want to.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions required will depend on the issue to be addressed
and your own individual needs. Generally though it is a very effective technique that may only require a few sessions to make a big impact.
Can hypnotherapy help me?
Almost everyone can benefit from hypnotherapy, even those that don't believe they can be hypnotised. Hypnotherapy can help if there is anything you wish to change,
either something you want to do, or something you would rather stop doing.
Don't just take my word for it, here are a few comments from clients...
"I wasn't sure what to expect but found it really relaxing and it made a huge change in how I saw myself and behaved. I wish I had learnt how to manage my anxiety earlier." Jane
I just wanted to thank you, because if I hadn't met you, none of the changes to my life would have happened, so cheers for improving my life and giving me confidence. Lauren
